Tomorrow, I will be sending home a paper with instructions on how to register for our class's Class Messenger. Class Messenger is a private messaging service that keeps teachers, parents, and students in sync. It's like if you took all the good parts of Twitter, texting, email, blogging, newsletters, Survey Monkey and Instagram and rolled it all into one application specifically for education. It's available where ever you are on a mobile device, tablet, or computer. Class Messenger uses push notifications, a web app, email, and text messaging so every single person can use it effortlessly.
It will make communication easier and better. Messages are easy to send and most importantly, it makes it almost impossible to have them get missed on either end.
Newsletters, emails, and our class blog will continue to be sent but this will make it easier for me to send reminders, share class pictures, ask for parent volunteers, or just send individual and private messages concerning your child. It will be like texting me directly when and if you ever need to, any time of the day.
Click on the link below to watch a video discussing how Class Messenger works more.
Here is also the website that you look at to learn more information! https://www.classmessenger.com/
Please make sure when registering, that you provide a mobile (cell) phone number for the service.
We had such a FUN time at the Seussical Musical today performed by the Holmes High School fine arts department! We got to see all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters like Cat in a Hat, Horton, the Grinch, and many more! Afterwards, the kiddos got signed pictures of the cast and even got to meet some of the performers. We had a great time!!
Brauchle has raised $1,200.00 as of Friday, October 3rd.
Our class is currently in 2nd place.
Remember, the class with the most cougar paws by 10/17 wins an ice cream party! The top 2 classes get to pie our Principal and Vice Principal at the school carnival. If our class wins, they will also get to pie Miss Oberg in the face too!
Attached is the class totals for each class in the whole school.
Remember, we will continue to sell paws through October 17th (the Friday before carnival) for 25¢.
Keep up the the great work and WE CAN DO THIS!!
